Summer in the Mountains
Hiking is a great attraction in the summer. But you can also swim in the Lake of Fiè, play tennis, ride horses, make a climbing course or a mountain-bike tour. Near the " Platzerhof" is an adventure park designed by children. A special attraction is to swim in the Lake of Fié, a lake located in the Natural Park "Schlern". Otherwise we have a big outdoor swimming pool at "Telfen" in Castelrotto.
There are a lot of sightseeings in Völs, for example the Castle of Presule, the Church of Fiè and the medieval village. The close cities Bressanone and Bolzano offer mediaeval impressions like the "Ötzi" Museum in Bolzano. The glacier mummy is around 5000 years old.
