Stay with us on your holidays in our apartment in Southtirol. The Platzerfarm is situated near the Alpe di Siusi and you can reach the centre of the village of Fié allo Sciliar in about 10 minutes by foot.
There you have a lot of shops and restaurants for dinner and lunch.

Nice hiking's begin directly from the farm to the nature reserve Sciliar-Catinaggio and to the Alpe di Siusi. The Alpe di Siusi in South Tirol is the biggest high-level alp of Europe, with light footpaths for families as well as demanding mountain hikes. We offer hiking tours trough the Dolomites.
The Alpe di Siusi cable rail brings you in short time to the alp, where the sun shines the whole day. The Alpe di Siusi makes part of the a skiing area "Dolomiti Superski" and offers 23 plants and 60 km of skiing runs for skiing, snowboard, free riding and to toboggan. The snow park Laurin is a lovely experience for children and teenagers. Besides, the skiing area is connected with the Sellaronda.

There are a lot of animals on our farm for example cows, calves, pigs, cats and rabbits. Dealing with animals brings children a lot of joy. For breakfast you can have everytime fresh milk. The children can find at a lot of space to move, there is a playground with swing, sandpit, game hut and table football.
There are table sets and chairs outside for barbecui. For the breakfast we offer fresh cow milk and you can ask for fresh bread directly from the bakery. You can also get seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs from our garden.

Winter sports in the Dolomites

The 'Dolomiti Superski' area is Europas largest skiing area. You can go skiing, on the whole west of South Tirol and parts of Trentino and Austria. The Alpe di Siusi is a true paradise for going cross-country skiing. The alp is a realy sunny area and offers "Apre Ski" at the valley station and many restaurants with local and italian food. We offer ski excursions trough the Dolomites. The Dolomites belong to UNESCO world inheritance since 2009. The Dolomites offers lots of possibilities for skiing, snowboarding, hiking with snow-shoes and ski tours on mountains.

Winter or summer, the area of the Sciliar and the Alpe di Siusi are an ideal area for sportwomen and sportmen. Winter sports like skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or going sledges are a dream in the Dolomites.
